Bureaucratische Bullshit

Gisteren kreeg ik deze brief binnen:


Het eerste wat ik dacht was "Bijna goed!" iedereen maakt wel eens een typo met namen, nou vooruit, ik bel ff om het te veranderen zodat er in de toekomst geen misverstanden ontstaan.

De conversatie die plaatsvondt was tussen Marijn Swenne (MS) en het Sensis Mannetje (SM), hehe MS VS SM
Sensis is het bedrijf dat zeg maar de gouden gids en het telefoonboek uitbrengt.

SM: Good afternoon, how can I help you *zucht*
MS: Good afternoon, I'm calling because the name on a letter that was addressed to me has a typo in it.
SM: What's your name?
MS: Marijn Swenne, but it was misspelled with an additional I after the J...
SM: What is your customer ID?
MS: 661980301
SM: And what's your address?
MS: Unit 2, 83 Ashmore Road in Bundall
SM: And in which area are you?
MS: uhm? I'm in Bundall, so Goldcoast or Brisbane or Queensland, I dunno
SM: Ah ok, what did you call for again?
MS: I received a letter to confirm my white pages (telefoongids) listing, but my name was misspelled.
SM: Sorry, what was your address there?
MS: Unit 2, 83 Ashmore Road in Bundall
SM: Let me have a look
MS: *wacht...*
SM: You're not autherised to make any changes to this account.
MS: But there's only a small typo?
SM: Sorry sir, but we can't change without authorization
MS: But I autherised the listing...
SM: Sorry sir
MS: And the letter is addressed to me, it just seems funny to me that I can't change the name on a letter that is addressed to me, especially because I was the one who autherised you guys to list us. I even had to do a voice recording... The letter is dated on the 15th of February.
SM: uhm.... no, sorry sir, I can't find that letter and I can't change anything without autherisation... you'll have to ask someone who is autherizes to contact us...
